The report says the team used Claude to write and test the core software for a first‑person‑view (FPV) “kamikaze” drone system, then deployed VPNs to bypass Anthropic’s geographic restrictions and repeatedly programmed the swarm to strike a location in Ukraine’s Donetsk region.
